my dad was drunk and could do it.  i could do it unless i started thinking about how sad people would get.  even people that youre fighting with would be crying at your funeral, so i wouldnt want to do that.

My sister's first husband ate the barrel of a shotgun and his parents came home and found him in their kitchen.

Pretty much meat and bone and blood everywhere.

Good times

although I'm not suicidal nor ****ed up in the brain, I could totally see myself blowing my brains out.  Whats so hard?  Put the gun to your head, cock, pull.  Its easy as 1-2-3.

I have seen up close and personal the devesation visited upon the family by suicide. Not in my immediate family but a family we are really close to.  Boy shot himself after getting put on restrictions or something asinine like that.

The parents lives are shattered.  The siblings go blank.  It is hell.  That has been 20+ years ago and often his mother is still in shambles.
A crying shame.  Absolutely a crying assed shame.

Suicide is forever.  You ****ty situation is temporary.

Earlier this year, some kid tried to kill himself with of all things a nail gun.  Of course he failed and is in rehab or something.

at a certain age, when you get old, or just have no chance of things getting any better, it might be better to end life on your own terms, rather than rotting away.

extreme cases of course.

I don't understand why people think "suicide" is for cowards. If one was a coward, they would NOT be able to have the BALLS to pull the trigger. One could actually tell me that in a "healthy" state of mind, one would be able to stiff the barrel of a gun, realizing that once you commit, you're dead? If in a "unhealthy" state of mind, I can believe it. I see being a "coward" as hiding in a corner, letting your brain become overwhelmed to the point where suicide has become an option, and not seeking help. But committing suicide is by no means an act of cowardness.

SUICIDE IS THE MOST SELFISH ACT IN THE WORLD! anyone could do it, but you kill more than yourself..you kill your family and friends....do i have the balls to do it, of course...would I? NEVER

when life gets tough, think of the millions that have it worse than you.....you are just a spec on the human map....

1. a person who lacks courage in facing danger, difficulty, opposition, pain, etc.

People who commit suicide can't find the courage to face the difficulty and pain in their lives so they end it. Sounds a lot like a coward to me. Suicide is the easy way out. Pathetic if you ask me.

I'm willing to bet your balls would shrivel up to the size of lice the moment you pick up the gun. Arrogance won't kill anyone, including yourself. And it doesn't matter who has it worse. What worst for me could be everyday life for another. Doesn't make a difference. All that matters is who can handle what under certain circumstances and environments.

It may be selfish... but not coward-ish.

I see what you are saying. The moment when you pull the trigger you are not a coward, I agree with you there that takes serious balls. However I think what they're trying to say what leads you to the point where the barrel of a 45 looks more friendly to you than anyone or anything else in the world is being a coward.

Indeed... but we're talking about the act of committing suicide, not finding the strength to find the help to not get to the point of being suicidal

2k1gt... couldn't you consider suicide as dangerous, difficult, and can sometimes be painful? One must be awfully couragous to do all 3 of those things at once

edit for my ****ting spelling lmao
edit for my ****tY spelling LOL!!! I fail. I better not try suicide... probably fail that too lmao
