where they fly by you at a high rate of speed thinking they have won a race you may or may not have been a part of

It's when you beat them in a race, and after you hit the brakes, they continue to speed past you. This leads them to believe that they won the race in some cases. Other times they do it just to try to be cool because they are pissed about about losing. It's often accompanied by the middle finger.

And like RM said, sometimes you may have not even been racing haha. They will fly past you in traffic as if beating you in a race.

I assume it's when you're driving your respectable car (V8 fbody or mustang, etc etc), minding your own business, and a Civic with vinyl, a bleacher wing, racing seats and five pin-on scoops sees you maybe 1/8 mile up in traffic and decides to blow by you, fart-can roaring.

I could be wrong.

I believe I have been "victimized" a couple times then. People all of the sudden flying by me WOT and I'm left sitting there wondering wtf that was all about.

I pull up to a light and race a Honda Civic. I win and when i slow down to avoid driving into small children he speeds up even more to pass me and feel as if " hey i still passed him i must have won!"
