Think about it. I have to buy a truck to tow it, so that becomes a write off and then I can use it for other stuff too. I can drive to KCIR and Heartland park and other events and give people yummy food.

How many events are in the area that dont have their own concession stands?
What kind of radius would you be traveling?          Chech with the coordinaters of the events you are thinking of and see what they require?
They may already have contracts for consessions.
Would you ba able to make enough $ to make any payments,  keep it stocked, Pay rent at events,  pay any ins and licensing required?
Plus you would need to hire help to run it?

Find out some $ numbers, and see if it would be a good investment.

1. probably mostly track events during the summer and local festivals/fairs.
2. ~150 mile radius
3. Less swap meet junk and funnel cake stands. j/k to them its all money. less empty spots for them = more money
4. Most pay for a "per day" permit. i.e. = 3 day permit for a lot may be 500-800 dollars
5. More than likely I could finance alot of it on my own and do the rest through a loan
6. I could run it by myself and maybe 1 or 2 girls from the salon

Working on the numbers now. I hope ROI is going to be 36 months or so.

Call the track and see if they have a concession vender under contract or if it is open to other venders
Call and find out what type of inspection and license regulations are in your area  and the cost of that.

also find out how much liability ins would be required and that cost.
