I like it. Almost an old school Boss style stripe. Silver stripes FTW!! Best color for PerfWhite.

Yeah I think I am going to size it down just a bit. Thanks for the input everyone! I'm going to start getting it ready today.

I know you just said that the vinyl on the way, but I'm sure you'll still appreciate me saying that looks awesome and you made the right decision. By the way, I think the stripe you're thinking of is the Roush 427R stripe:

Yup that's what i think it was too! Except I think the car I saw it on (pic) was silver or white. Damn even that center stripe down the front is looking pretty temping... but i want mine down the bumper in doubles sooo :D lol. Getting the vinyl tomorrow, putting on the sides tomorrow and will deal with the doubles next week. BTW That color scheme is pretty bad ass with those stripes. Usually i'm not too fond of white/red combo but that's pretty sharp.

Need some help really quick... Does anyone have any info on removing the pony emblems on the side and re-applying them? Are they bolted on too? Anyone have a writeup for this so I don't have to go digging too far in? I can get around this while applying the vinyl and work it underneath, but it's going to be a pain. I'd rather strip them first then re-apply with 3m double stick afterwards. Has anyone done this successfully without damaging the emblems?? Perhaps some fishing line and a little heat? Thanks in advance. I'll put some pics up today of the side decals.

I have read some post that said just fishing line, the pins are just for alignment not bolted

removing my ponies was a huge pain. It took me about 3-4 hours with a blowdryer and some fishing line, then another hour with goo gone to get the adhesive off the car. They're just held on with adhesive and the holes are there for alignment i guess.

At work right now. Ok I guess i'm just going to keep them on there and work around them since. It would take less time and be easier for me than having to strip that all off, re-apply the adhesive and then align it all again. Thanks guys. I'll show you guys some pics today of the sides if it doesn't get too dark out by the time I leave.

Tape off the area around the pony with 3M painters tape trim around emblim with exacto razor (easy stay out of the paint) peel off in one-piece place on stripe and cut out. harder to line up on stripe but might be less time them removing emblims.

LMAO I went ahead and took off the emblems :P You won't believe how quickly I did it. I was at first going to use the fishing line but instead opted to use a softer vinyl squeegie with my heat gun. 5 minutes each side. I didn't scrap into it. I kind of wiggled underneath the emblem and then lifted, put the heat gun to flow air under the squeegie and directly to the adhesive. It came off like butter. I dunno if it was a technique I was using or some other odd factor but it was easy as pie. The sucky part was scraping the crap off the plastic emblems to re-apply them with new double sided automotive tape. Came out CLEAN. Unfortunately it got too dark out while I was working on it to take good pictures so I will pop a few tomorrow in the afternoon sometime. Came out MUCH better than I anticipated. EDIT: I used adhesive remover that we use in our shop to take off the gunk that it left behind. Came off pretty easy.
