I am really thinking about taking off my hps mainfold and throwing on a supercharger (not a centrifugal supercharger) I want something that is going to WHINE LOUD!!!!!!! What would be the best one?

Looks like you're having a one sided conversation in here. You asked a question and answered it yourself. That's funny..."so I said to myself, I said self...." LOL

I recommend you steer away from KB unless your internals are beefed-up. I was considering a Vortec as MUCH less stress on non-built motor at lower RPM's. The Vortec gives better power as RPM's go up and less likely to go "poof".

Gotta love the sal07b take
YELLOW FEVER: "Why not keep the Saleen theme going. Buy a Series IV. Mine whines like crazy"
Jazzer, that is a big misconception. FI at any RPM can make a motor go poof, and having it down low does not make it any worse than having it up top. A motor can let go anytime throught the rpm band, if anything, the strain is usually more so at higher rpm's.

RedGT, I realize that adding a blower is harder on engine, reguardless of type. The Vortec just does not create as much cylinder pressure at lower RPM's when wheels are hooked up and driving car from a low speed. Hence "less likely" to go poof, but certainly not a guarantee. This is pretty much why I decided against one.
I don't drive my car everyday, but want to keep it reliable as possible as I do rely on it to take g/f and I on long road trips. Besides, it is another 10K or so I don't need to put into the VIXN (my car, not my g/f, silly )
Hey, Yellow, you know I was teasin' right? BTW, not to hijack, but seems to me you were gonna go 4V Cobra, right?
That I would like to see (and hear)
Jazzer That's the plan. I have purchased a set of 03' Cobra heads. They are out getting someporting/polishing,new cams, valves, etc etc done to them.I'm flying down to St. Louis forthe big Ford meet on May 15-18 with a thick wallet full of money to buy a shortblock, and a new blower. Not going to make another mistake this time...
