I do admit I have ran on the streets, but it was a backwoods road, blocked at both ends. I won quite a bit of money doing it, but that doesnt make it right.  Any of us could have been killed if a deer ran in front of us, or we crashed.  I did it (and was wrong), but still say its too dangerous.

out in the boonies with no traffic or pedestrians.  elsewhere would be maybe a quick burst from a light to 5-10 mph above the speed limit, nothing more.

and at the drag strip.

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.

I like the plates! Get any bad attention from cops?

I don't really care as long as I or someone I love doesn't get killed by a racer. As long as you know the consequences of your actions

Side note, a kid at my college has the plates RICEHNTR on his porsche, lol

nobody cares if the idiot driving the car dies, cause they're just getting what they asked for.  the irresponsible drunk / racer / stupid old fart from florida never ends up dead, it's always the innocent people who end up dead or fubar.

Just one big ego fest, until a person gets killed. Location of it is just an excuse. Shame on the admins of this board for even having a section for it.

And no, I've never done it. I have witnessed accidents from it though.

i havent "raced" in a while since ive had my truck for over a year now.  i kinda miss the light to light challenges associated with owning a pustang.  i hardly ever started anything, its like the opportunity just falls in your lap as you commute and you both know it's on.  doesn't happen in a slowcoma, i mean tacoma.  i never liked "organizing" street races as they just never felt right.  any time i had a planned race, i already knew the outcome or i wouldnt have done it.

You're right for 2 reasons.

1. I'm sure when someone is about to streetrace, they ONLY carry through with it because they KNOW they can come share it on MF.com.

2. Street racing would stop if there were no internet forums to discuss it on.

you can't possibly deny that internet forums have helped encourage retards to race from a stoplight.  you might as well pretend this forum hasn't added traffic to togirlsjuancup.
