View Full Version : don't forget about Earth Day! lololol
s197richie 04-15-2008, 05:15 PM So next Tuesday is Earth Day. How will YOU celebrate?
I'm thinking of wasting some 93 octane at an approximate rate of 12mpg, and maybe gratuitously burning some rubber.
Hate to sound ignorant, but f*ck the earth.:D
03_gt_woowee 04-15-2008, 05:19 PM i'm going to bring a poster of trees getting cut down to my chemistry teacher at my old highschool because she was the biggest hippie ever and loved earth day
im going to go to school and exploit hippy chicks for free hugs and ****.
stangman94 04-15-2008, 05:22 PM I'm burning my old tires outside of a recycling area and dumping my old oil and coolant into the river.
kngdaka 04-15-2008, 05:23 PM lol at all the plans so far.
Nowadays "earth day" is every day[:o]

ryterngki 04-15-2008, 05:53 PM I'll celebrate earth day by not dumping my used motor oil in the grass or street.
FlaPony 04-15-2008, 05:57 PM Bone a tree hugger while wearing Earth Shoes.
fastbackford351 04-15-2008, 06:04 PM Oh wow. The possibilities. My mind is reeling.
I'm liking the exploit the hippy chicks for hugs and stuff.
Tire fires are always a favorite of mine.
Not dumping my oil onto the ground for a day has its merits as well.
WOT is always a blast.
Boning a tree-hugger, only if their mouth is duct taped shut

s197richie 04-17-2008, 07:20 PM anybody else?
s197richie 04-21-2008, 06:02 PM bump
Earth Day is tomorrow
My plans have changed a bit.
On the one side, I plan on changing a co-workers fuel filter in the parking lot and dumping some gas on the ground. But I also plan on renting a Prius for 24 hours. It's just a coincidence that both of these events happen to be on Earth Day.
jperz89lx 04-21-2008, 06:28 PM wait you guys dont dump your oil in the street all the time?
Oxnard Montalvo 04-21-2008, 07:34 PM I'm going to celebrate Earth Day by remembering the major theme of the first Earth Day in 1970.
GLOBAL COOLING AND THE COMING ICE AGE.
brad281 04-21-2008, 10:20 PM I'll celebrate by taking my stingers off and running just my o/r h. Will sound just like loud ****. But I gotta do it for this environment and these gas proces our govt loves.
josmoe5000 04-21-2008, 10:22 PM I can't recycle it would violate my contract.
When my sister and I were kids we collected cans to recycle for some extra cash of course. After a few weeks we filled up the back end of the minivan with several trash bags full. We ended up getting a small amount of money, maybe $6 to split between the two of us. My dad offered us $10 each if we agreed never to recycle again. We both took the deal and never looked back.
OT LOVER 04-21-2008, 10:29 PM lol Its ironic that my kids want to plant a tree, so we are gonna buy a couple of apple treeswhile hubbyis logging from sun up til sun down.I am glad that they haven't thought abouttheir daddy cutting trees all day everyday when the teachers were telling the tocelebrate earth day.
Sothe kidswill be giving a drop back while hubby takes a gallon.
s197richie 04-22-2008, 07:50 PM Well Earth Day is coming to a close.
I indeed spilled gas on the ground and then improperly disposed of a used filter, but it was to help a co-worker down on her luck. Six bucks and change isn't too bad for a fuel filter replacement.
I also got therental Prius. Pretty emotionless driving comparedto the Mustang GT. But as aforementioned, getting the car to run on electric motor only is fun. Driving by pedestrians at 35 mph or so and making no noise but the rolling of the tires is kind of cool. The dealership that rented me the car is also slapping on $4000 ADMs, same as my local Toyo dealer. Even if slashing my horsepower and torque by about two-thirds didn't bother me (and it would), the extra money involved in trading into a Prius would totally nullify any fuel savings...
Elwood 04-22-2008, 08:43 PM Earth day? Buahaha! Please. I live in Calgary. You know, the only city where our power consumption went up during that whole "lights out for an hour" thing. [8D]
I celebrated bysplashing slush at the smokers/tools/utter moronsacross the street from my school in my friends truck. That and accelerating very abruptly at each light on my way home.
