some days when i drive my car to work sand like to blow liberally all over it. it gets every where im so afraid that some of its gonna get in the car, but what is the best to way to get it all off just rinse it with water cause its allready all washed and waxed and the sand just sticks to it. im always thinking its gonna mess up the paint. driving to work is not an option now cause my truck is down. also if i keep my car in the garage on nights so it wont sit in the dew and stuff from the night and drive in the rain as little as possible will it keep the headlights looking new. thanks guys i appreciate it.

yeah...your best bet with sand would probably be to hose it off.  a duster will drag the grains and leave swirls, and im pretty sure a quick detailer would do about the same thing.  and with your headlights, if they are in good condition now, then you should be able to just keep a good coat of wax on them like you do the car, and they will stay looking new.

You can try a claybar on it.
