PS3 sucks, you pay 600.00 you get the same graphics as the 360 and a 20GB hard drive, yes you do get free online play but it gets boring playing the same games over and over. i bought a 360 elite for 450.00 with a 120GB hard drive plus i have a wide variety of games to choose from, unlike the ps3. and the ps3's controller does'nt even vibrate LOL.
1. the PS3 doesnt cost 600 anymore. its been thru several price cuts 2. The graphics engine in the PS3 is more powerful than the 360. so stfu noob 3. Beware of your 360's chrnoic ability to break itself. PS3= 00.02% failure Rate. 360 = 30.00% failure rate 4. The 360 has only 30-ish more games than the ps3. Which is very pityful considering it had like a year headstart 5. There are new ps3 controlers out that do rumble.
The 360 has fewer wireless inputs The 360 Has a less powerful core processor The 360 = Red Ring Of Death The 360 require multiple add-ons to be as versatile as the ps3, which will make the total cost much more than the ps3 The 360's controlers require an adapter to be used wireless

if you guys wanna start a ps3 vs xbox thread go for it...im just looking to play with some fellow mustang fans....btw...killbear what happened last night..you left asap..and i usually dont play sabotage and search and destroy...im more of a hardcore team deathmatch kinda guy
ehh I find 360 games more entertaining and the graphics look the same to me. I don't care about that technical **** all that matters to me is how it looks and plays. FYI mine came with a wireless controller that didn't need an adapter.
What multiple add ons???

the controller was a joke... and i have my 360 hooked up to a 30" 1080i and the picture is amazing, but if you hook up the systems to the same tv there is no noticeable difference and the 80GB hard drive is an upgrade. it was originally a 20gb hard drive for 600.00 which is considered rape in my book.
if your 360 does break microsoft well repair it for free, im not a "noob" by no means, and like i said in the other thread there is NO NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE!!! and 30+ is a big difference when it comes to first person shooters, or unless you like rpg's and japanesse rip-off games. i do like sony more than microsoft, but when it comes to game systems... microsoft all the way.

yeah i got my ps3 with the 80 gb hard drive, 2nd controller, dvd remote, and a game for less than 600. my family uses the blue ray quite often as well.
so yes I have CoD4 on PS3, my tag is Captain_Couch. I don't play too much so I'm sure everyones better than me, and my dog ate my headset
k, i live in texas and they were 600.00, and sorry i was wrong sony did have a 80gb hard drive but i really dont think it was worth 200.00 more than the 360... and you can buy a hd player for the 360 for 100.00.

well i don't know enough to debate I just know I love my PS3 and just dislike microsoft in general. But about the HD player for 100 ok so its cheaper, but too bad the HD-DVD format is failing right now. Maybe if they made it standard in their players like sony did then Microsoft would have kept a strong base for the HD-DVD format
YEA...I HAVE IT AS WELL FOR PS3...I think my tag is RZRCVR - no clue as to why but o well...I bought the PS3 just for that game and I have played it once in the past month!

who would have thought that would have mattered? everyone and their grandmother knows that HD-DVD is much better quality than Bluray anyway. the only advantage bluray has over HD-DVD is its disk capacity.

the 360 came out befor hd dvd or blue ray players, at least they where able to adapt and still give us a good deal. and i dont belive microsoft is at fault for the hd dvd format failing... right?

but they could have helped push the HD format allowing them to succeed. But since not all Xbox's had the HD player they had no really need to push the HD format if it died they were only out one small product the add on player...but if they would have made it to where they play on the xbox then they would have had to push the entire format so that it could stay afloat and overtake bluray and sony.

it didnt fail, Blu-Ray or whoever owns the naming rights to Blu-Ray, which i think is probably Sony, just bought out all the rights to all High Definition video formats.
i wouldnt hesitate to bet that Sony noticed that those few idiots that didnt know what they were getting with the PS3 were willingly overpaying for it, and then Sony decided that they can take all that money and throw it in Microsoft's face by buying out the HD rights. not that microsoft doesnt have the money to do such a thing. i mean its not a bad move on Sony's part, pretty smart... i mean hell, you know your competition is better, so what next? buy out the rights to the item that Microsoft puts out to compete with the PS3's only real selling point.
