I see this Sonic Blue GT , he revs and we both hop on the interstate. He's got black (1998) 17" wheels, clear tails, 03 cobra bumperand cobra emblems (facing back). We line up I blow the horn 3 times and he starts to pulls on me. His exhaust was so loud, itwas all I could hear. Now I'm sitting there wondering WTF he has. He rolls down the window and says he has a supercharger, knowing the cobra emblems were facing the wrong way I still asked if it was a cobra, to see what he'd say. He said it had a cobra motor. We go again, this time I get alittle ahead of him and I can hear the blower scream, he reals me in and puts about a car and a half to 2 cars on me and we let off. We pull over and talk. Turns out he has a cobra motor w/ a stage 4 ported blower (I didn't know they had that many stages), he said the motor build cost him $15k. I could see a purge tube, he poped the hood, he had N2O also but didn't spray because he was on a base tune. He had SLP exhaust (loud as fvck), x-pipe, 3.73 gears (he had no center caps and I could see he had Superior Axles), serious fuel system, etc. Needless to say it was much faster that any cobra/ GT that I've ran. He said that his setup on the spray should go 9.9's. I'd like to run him again, with me on the spray and him off. When I get the car tuned for it I'll try to line up that race a video tape it for ya'll.
He was really cool and was shocked that I was NA. We exchanged numbers and left.
