So, I have several friends (one of them even drives a mustang) that believe that the 07 GT500's cant do a high 11 second quarter mile run stock with a set of good drag radials... (11.5-11.8 e/t times). I am dead positive that they can. Anybody have their time slips or any information I can use to prove them wrong? One drives an 01 camaro, another an 01 trans am, and the other an 04 mach 1... They dont believe that the GT500's can get into the 11's stock... Please help me prove them wrong...

I would just peruse the drag times website...I am sure you can find someone that has posted some stock times there...

With 440RWHP there is no reason why a GT500 wouldnt run high 11's with some traction.

I wana say low to mid 12's is about right 4 stock. I've seen a stock one w/ dr hit 11's though; that makes plenty of sense.

I've also seen a full bolt on gt500 w/ smlr pulley and a set of dr's run high 10's. So even though it one heavy car, it got plenty of power.
