I have tried to find a way to play my Zune through my stock stereo deck for a long time and I finally did it. I bought the FM transmitters and not satisfied with the sound, I didn't want to take my deck due to the reason that I really like the way it looks and sounds. I found this Auxiliary Input Converter that connects to my stock system. Sounds greeaat. Im not trying to sell The Auxiliary Input Converter connects to the CD changer data port of your factory radio changer data port of your factory radio to create an external auxiliary input that has a pair of left and right RCA audio inputs (see specific vehicle applications below). With this converter installed, you can connect any external audio device that has an audio output directly to your factory radio without using an FM modulator and hear the audio from your factory sound system. Devices such as XM Satellite Radio, VCR, MP3, Video Game Systems, and DVD can be added to the OEM radio without FM modulation.
Only for Radio model 3R3T-18C815-UE
I can pass on the company to anybody that wants one, (Not sure if I can post it) but I'm sure that there are some Staang Bros. out there that were in the same situation as I was.
Just got an fm transmitter for my ipod this past week. Been flipping throught the channels trying to find the best to play on. Not too happy with the sound quality.
I Know what you mean, I even tried sticking the transmitter in my glovebox to try to get a good signal, this has a great sound and easy to use, I did this because all my kids and I also constantly burning cd's to play in the car, now everywhere you look around here, drawers, boxes, and even in cabinets there is a cd with nothing wrote on it but has music on it. No need for cd's now, plus it will help with keeping the miles off my factory cd player...ha
Do they make something like this for the aux input on the Shaker 500 head unit in my 2006 Mustang?
I know, I know, Staang and I are the only 2 people on the face of the earth using something other than an IPOD to enjoy music and all. LOL. In my dakota, I have an an Alpine cda-9847, I was able to plug a $10 cord into the "aux imput" on the back of the unit, and then use my media player. Surely there is something like this for my ''Stang....
