You should find a new hobby, or actually talk to people that have a slight clue as to whats going on. Aside from knowing about Fi and RE, pretty much everything you have posted has led me to believe that you are totally mis-informed or totally under adult supervision 24 hours a day so someone can instruck you on how to blink and breath.

So whats different bewteen a 15" and an 18".

What makes the 18" "just blow air" as compared to the 15" or less that "actually" creates SPL...

I mean come on now John... look at what you wrote!!!

"18's just blow air".... Do you know the basic fundamentals of audio?  Do you know what SPL is or what it stands for and what it actually means?

It's excellent that you know company names, but now let's get back to the principals of audio.

I'd skip out on the kicker amps.

IMO hifonics is on the same level as kicker and thier amps are much lower.

Two of these would be great for the money.

TG ive been very happy with the sub been passed around like a whore but still as tight as a virgin. It was very expensive after the carbon fiber cone was included price was lil over 900$ but shipping from germany cost damn near 200$ extra not including the 8 days it took to get here. But Sal and his people have given me nothing but great support (never really needed them) but were very helpful when building the box so id say go for it there in my opp one of the top 3 speaker manf(as far as quality). Has pulled a few 154's off (dash termlab) but have yet to surpass that mark but have since gotten my hands on a 9515 that will soon see some time as soon as i get power issues worked out.

^^^ it was a joke.. The amp is overrated u will not see that kinda power at any of those loads. (maybe if u had a 16v system and the amp was 100% eff(<<its not prob in the range of 65% 70%). That cap u have go to the nearest river, lake, ocean and chunk that thing as far as you can.

Thats going to be one badass system dude. I didn't know you already had a 3 farad capacitor to go with it all, its a good thing you found all your equipment at the same place, phat discounts rule!

I'd go with 3.5 cube per driver, tuned to 49 hz, and make sure you have the bass boost set about 3/4 of the way, and then adjust your gain accordingly, gain is what will pop your woofers, bass boost is basically free bass, dont crank it all the way though, you want some extra room in case you need to get 5 more dB when your in competition.

Post some numbers when you go on a meter!

How on earth does someone go from Fi BTL's to kickers....

That is like wanting a nice steak and getting a big mac.

Great point.

I do enjoy a nice steak.  I had a $48 porterhouse once at a nice restaurant in the area and it was worth EVERY PENNY.  Wish i could do it more than once a year though.
