OLAFKID -> long list of questions/problems... (4/13/2008 4:50:26 PM)

Just installed LT's and Qa1 K-member on my 04 GT this yesterday.  I know the Qa1 is supposed to move the geometry around a little for the better but as my car sits with that K-member and stock everything else i have terrible camber and have found the opinions to be very different as to how to correct this.  I would also like to lower my car and im not so much worried about performance as i am looks, i just dont know if i need CC plates to correct it all with lowering springs or if i need plates, shocks/struts/springs, the whole nine?

As far as correcting camber, your #1 solution would be installing a good set of caster / camber plates. CC plates will allow you to get your Mustang back into spec by giving you a much larger adjustment range to work with.

Shocks & struts are just as important as plates. New shocks will help dampen the higher spring rates and rigors of installing lowering springs. Your stock Motorcraft shocks are marginal at best, so installing aftermarket shocks will vastly improve your ride quality.

Sincerely,
