Have you tried to slow down your passes and apply more pressure?

acctually when i would go slow it seemed to make it worse and i would do alot of passes it seemed to get better the faster i would go and the more passes i would make i also tried applying more pressure that helped a bit till i pushed to hard and it seemed that the pad was heating up alot and felt like the backing might come apart but now i know that i need to get a yellow pad

Hmm....It is hard to see what is going on without me seeing it in person. You might need a more aggressive pad. Are you make sure you are using a toothbrush to keep the pad clean? When you are using more aggressive compounds they will gum the pad up a lot quicker and you will have to clean it more often. This can cause more swirls and they won't correct as well either. Some paints are harder to correct than others too, you could be working on the same year vehicle with the same color paint and everything and one might have a hard clearcoat than the other. Some panels will take more passes than others too.

well paint isnt i the best condition and no i didnt use a tooth brush clean it out that may be why i always get pissed off when the pad gums up on the flat surface i couls get the swirls out fine but i was having problems on the curves were the hood would drop down a bit and the dry part of my pad would hit the paint and create more marks in the paint let me get some pics of the area i am talking about

I was doing something similar to my Cobra just last week. The dry part of the pad would hit and make some ugly micromarring.. I didn't soak it, but I shot a couple sprays of quick detailer on the sides of the pad where it was hitting, it put an end to the problems I was having on my hood.

You can also tape off those areas that that the end of the pad isn't touching them.
