i bought my car with the stainless steel bumper inserts. i wanna taake them off and throw some black ones on there. how should i go about doing this?? just pull? and should i clean the surface and but the black ones on??

any input would be great. thanks!

should be able to heat them up with a hairdryer or heat gun and they should peel off fairly easily.  then i would take some googone or other adhesive remover and clean that area very good.  then you should be fine to put in the new black letters.  have you thought about the black stainless letters? they are a little more expensive, but look awesome.

black stainless would be VERY nice but i dont really wanna spend $65 on them when i can get black vinyl inserts for like $13.. its the same look. nobody is gunna notice the difference
