I havn't been on here in awhile and just read about three pages of posts.
There is alot of bad/wrong/harmful information in this section.
Please confirm any advice you get from this forum before use. Most of it will only cause you the misfortune of having to buy new equipment. But, I have seen a car burn to the ground because his "friend" told him he should mount his main fuse as close as possible to his amp.
From what I have seen seight311, PReal and laserred38 give solid and factual advice. I am sure there are others, these are just the ones I noticed.

IMHO, ttocs and seight should be mods in this forum, as a lot of retards come in here, ask dumb questions, dont like the answers, and get pissed off, leaving the smart people (TTOCS FTMFW!!) to get pissed, and stop answering. i, for one, have been benefiting from ttocs experience, as you all will soon see when i post pics of my system setup, but outisde of those two (im sure their are others, i only know them) READER BEWARE!
Thanks man, I by no means felt attacked. My record speaks for itself. I think this post does bring to light a problem that has been getting worse here.
I have only had to use my admin rights at the other site a couple of times in the 3 yrs I have been able to.
IMHO, ttocs and seight should be mods in this forum
Dat would be cool, come to think of it I have never even thought to request it.
Maybe some of you fellas that take our information we provide and make good with it, you should PM a mod about it and request we get mod privleges in the A/V section...
Laserred hasn't been around in a while, he was a novice that didn't know much but picked up and did a 180 really fast and started helping out a ton, he became a mod I believe and doesn't spend much time around here.
Between me, ttocs and PReal, no offense to disturbed or hisss who are both very up to date on everything mobile electronics, spend the most time in here, and on a regular basis.
I just don't know if 3 mods are needed for the A/V section... I would greatly enjoy it because it would give nice coverage, but at times it may be in excess... I don't really know how big of a deal it is to appoint someone as a mod though. If 3 is easy to swing I say do it!
Speak up youngins, you get me appointed and I will be sure to continue doing what I do.
I would have to agree with the mod nominations. Seight, ttocs, P and Hiss are the one's that I would nominate. Associate mods could be laser and disturbed and i could be the jester.

joey you have come a long way in a pretty short time honestly. Keep it up.
I don't think we need to start editing/deleting peoples posts or anything extreme. The threat of doing it after some gentle prodding normally does the trick but somebody needs to start cleaning this side of the forum, it has been pretty embarrasing lately.
Main reason I want mod status is so I can constantly and easily update stickies, I have tons of stuff I randomly think of and could add, but I have to type it all up perfectly, save it, then get a mod to unlock it. Add it, repeat.
I dunno, if it's offered or some people really want it to happen im all for it.
yall got my votes for mods. thx for even including my name but im a very far from being as tech as (seight, ttoc, and the 2 or 3 others that know what they say) but i do know what i know and what i dont know i keep my mouth shut about << this would fix alot of problems if people would just shut up and learn about something before u throw ur 2 cents in.

I think if a couple of the 5-10 more knowledgeable people were mods we could eliminate a lot of the incorrect information that could cause someone's car to burn down.
I feel sorry for the people that have actually listened to some of the incorrect advice on this site.
^^^ ha now that i think of it. It is kinda sad u know theres gotta be atleast 20+ people that have went out on advice from here and got that 400$ type r and that 800$ pdx1000 and now sit on prob 1500$ (after install cause ya know they got bent over on that one) of pure second class audio equpment and now know they could have spent half that for something better. But we all learn one way or another (good or bad).

I have been making more headway on pm's with people. They ask, and they listen.
I am sure we are just talking to ourselfs though, not going to change anything.....
If people need me they can find me. I'll be cherry pickin my topics and I am not even going to try and bother talking over anyone else anymore, not worth it. If they want to leave it to be run by the idiots there is nothing we can do about it.
I had actually thought about doing this a while ago. Even asking one of the mods how to possibly nominate one of you guys for a position like this. I might not post alot here on the a/v forum but all the recommendations if I give anybody is online with what you usually give.
As someone new to this forum and new to Mustangs I''d say the folks mentioned seem to give pretty solid advice.
As a newbie here I''ll also say the search function on this forum is not as useful or intuitive as on other forums I''ve frequented, which is too bad because I''m researching and trying to weight my options. Getting up to speed around here takes some time! Maybe a better search tool would cut down on too many repeat posts.
Hey, just wanted to say that I''m sorry if I ever gave bad advice or anything... I know for a fact that I''ve recommended Alpine, but as I''ve said when I recommended it, I just happen to like that brand. Never said you couldn''t get something better for the money, and I''m pretty sure I''ve never given any advice that would be harmful, but if I did, I''m sorry. There are a lot of people that do know a lot more than I do, and when I really don''t know, I listen to the people that do. Pretty much all the people that I really do listen to have been mentioned here too, mainly because I haven''t been here that long I think. I do try to help out where I can, but if something I said wasn''t right, sorry... As for the mod suggestion, I''m all for it. Give the people that really know what they''re doing more power over others that way it really cuts down on the incorrect advice. Also, sorry if I ever said anything that offended anyone, never meant to... BTW, thanks for all the help from everyone here, gotten quite a bit since I''ve joined.
