you have a wide range listed there of what you are considering which should be narrowed down easily by what you want out of the system.  My box is a little different as I wanted to keep the trunk usable, and wanted something more towards sq over spl, and do not listen to much rap so my box is about 1.6 cu ft that hangs from the rear deck and houses 4 - 8"s.  it is on page 7 er 8 of my cardomain page

With multiples like that your clearly in a phase where you want tons of bass. You should probably get an 18" in a big ol' box, say 4.5 cube maybe?  Not something too expensive because you will be absoltely sick of that much bass in about a year or less. But get you a good solid amp that you can use for any system you do now or in 5 years.

I still would like to hear what exactly you want, what you listen to, your budget etc.

I have 2500 that i can spent right now.I want to make it look great and i like rap,and rock. i want to pretty much take up the whole turnk!.I was thinking about putting a sub on the rear deck were the 6x9s are.It would have to be the new slim sub but i thing it would be pretty kool loking with the box hooked to it from the back side

speakers are 5 x 7's all the way around, you can put a 6.5 if you make a baffle to mount it.

well Then 5x7s.I still need a idea of like the amp rack and the ssub lay out gere are some pics that i kinda like the boxs and i would make them fit in on each side of the tunk behind the tails lights.
http://caraudiofactory.com/single-slot-ported-band-pass-with-subwoofer-p-298.html?osCsid=1ba7e3887c95efc22a45df60883c4276

Put one of them on each side and hook them to wall so they dont side out.trim them up with leds.I cant use my spare tire spot i have 1 10lb bottle of go-go juice there.so amp rack would have to be put somewere

I think one DD Z18 would fit the bill or maybe a 9518g?

Ha good luck on getting that z maybe 10 in the world (talking about new magnet z's) old one can be found but are limited to under 50 units. 9518 would be a more logical choice but will need massive power to run if u dont have over 4grand of power then look else where cause the 3500 series stays pretty much even with the 9500 series untill u send over 2500 and thats when the 9500 pulls away. Ramo u can get a custom alt for any application needed there are many companys that will build u a custom 300amp alt or whatever u need that will be a direct bolt on to your existing bracket with lil to no mods needed will be $$$ in the 400$+ range for anything over 240amps but nothings cheap also a few 2400's will be needed or something = to them.

personally, I don't like the MTXsetup...looks like a clusterf#$k to me.  that one last JL setup doesn't look too bad, though it looks like they integrated two different size woofers in there (is it me or is the middle one smaller than the outside two?)

they look to be the same u can see the 2 outside speakers are kinda tilted while the center is straghit. ^^^ Same as u mtx setup looks like shi** thrown on top of shi** way to much going on back there to look nice. But then again i really dont like any of them im more of a big bulky box kinda guy half of the boxes ive used werent even carpeted just never really cared about looks its all about the prof to me.

The last car i did the too was a eclipse with 2 15" l7s and it pushed out the back glass

I use to be able to find the covers online but I cant seem to find them anymore. Someone who has made there own should make a digital template for forum memebers

I have been planning on making one sooner or later, just never really had a reason to yet.  It sounds like a fun project and it would not be too hard to make a 2nd while I was making mine, whatcha thinkin ramoyer1?  design and $?
