i think that alone being engaged at 17 is an indicator that somethings very ****ed up. just say "OMG CONGRATS! HAVE A NICE LIFE" and move on.

Don't even bother. That girl needs to get her head on straight. Engaged at 17 or even in a seriously realtionship at 17 is a big no-no. Enjoy life while you can. You have plenty of years to be serious. The teenage years are excluded!

Check with her friends to see if shes insane. The whole engaged at 17 thing isnt a sign of a realistic girl.
