My 06 was purchased used and it has these wheels on it w/some cobra emblems for the center caps.

How do you remove the centercaps?  Will it be flat black underneath or do I need to replace them with a different centercap entirely?

The cap should push out from the inside. Do not try to remove it from the outside (unless there is a small notch or something to get underneath it. When you remove the cap, there will be a hole and will be able to see the axle, so you may just want to replace the sticker emblem. Do you have new center caps that say Mustang or originally for your wheels?

So you can't get the cap off w/o removing the wheel?

Look closely, but you probably cannot without causing damage. The upside is they will probably not get stolen
