99 GT vert 04-11-2008, 09:51 AM just ordered mine
this stuff is worth every penny
Dan04COBRA 04-11-2008, 09:55 AM Pre-order sent!
Juztang 04-11-2008, 10:17 AM Thanks for the orders guys!
Everyone that has ordered the wax by itself from the website, I refunded the difference in shipping back to you. My website calculates shipping based on the total order, since the wax is a high price it charges accordinglyand overcharges on shipping for the small tin of wax.
Dan04COBRA 04-11-2008, 10:30 AM Thanks for sorting that out man, not everyone would take the time to do that!!
Can't wait to get this stuff.
jmac72187 04-11-2008, 11:08 AM Wish I had the cash. Will the pre order still be going on next Friday?
PiggySmallz 04-11-2008, 11:38 AM i'll be jumping on this shortly justin...can I do it later tonight I get out of work 9PM est.
Dan04COBRA 04-11-2008, 11:48 AM He posted this thread early this morning and said he's going to let it run about a week. [8D]
PiggySmallz 04-11-2008, 01:14 PM i didn't see that, thanks Dan:D
Cooter 04-11-2008, 03:11 PM Jmac, it will look great on that red car of yours. Get some OD WetGlaze too if you dont have some already!

Ya, there are a few things that I want to pick up. I have spent about $2000+ in mods/car stuff in the last month and I am only a 20 year old student. Not much cash around haha.
Juztang 04-11-2008, 05:07 PM Yes I will let the sale run until next Friday. I really think everyone is going to be more than happy with this wax. It is so easy to use and the results are amazing!
BTW- after some of you guys use the wax, get a picture with the Wet Obsession on the hood or something and I will get some posted on my website!
DuFFMaNN 04-11-2008, 08:59 PM You know I would if I had the moneys.
Dan04COBRA 04-12-2008, 10:47 AM Is it en route yet? I'm getting impatient already...[8D]

Dan
Why yes it is! All of the orders that were placed yesterday and some today have already shipped out via USPS Priority. So everyone should be getting them really soon!
My first run of labels got done earlier than expected, so I got quite a few finished.
Dan04COBRA 04-12-2008, 05:16 PM Damn man, you waste no time!
I was just looking at my car in the driveway earlier thinking it needs just a little bit deeper of a finish and I was thinking I could really use Wet Obsession right now!! Can't wait to try it.
tommy2273boy 04-12-2008, 09:42 PM Im excited for this now, cant wait for a day off work and lots of sun shine to get it done!
Juztang 04-14-2008, 03:29 PM Some of the early orders should be getting theirs today!!
Dan04COBRA 04-14-2008, 04:10 PM Got mine!
I cleaned off the hood of my car and applied a single thin coat...
Holy crap it's nice! Goes on easy and comes off even easier. It's cloudy at my place today, but I only did the hood and the difference from the hood, to the top of the fenders & my trunk was pretty significant.
It looked the hood has one solid sheet of water on it. Really impressed.
Now I just need some free time to do the entire car. :D
Juztang 04-14-2008, 04:11 PM I knew you would like it Dan!!! Can't wait to see some pictures!!
Dan04COBRA 04-14-2008, 04:13 PM I have a crappy digital camera all ready to take some blurry out of focus pics this week man!
DuFFMaNN 04-14-2008, 10:23 PM Why do I have to be a poor college student? HMM? I want some. :(
Cooter 04-14-2008, 11:56 PM I also used it on my hood. It was really easy on and off no matter how thick the coat. It has a really nice depth and wetness to it. Its up there with the other high $ waxes I've tried. I need to get out the old Meg's deep crystal step #1 and start over (agian).
You guys really need to take advantage of this pre-order. You wont regret it and you'll be saving
yourself some $$ doing it now.
Dan04COBRA 04-15-2008, 08:16 AM I'm going to give my car the full treatment sometime this week. I tried a car duster, once again.....only to but a million light scratches you can see when the sun is out. I hate them things, I thought I'd try it again... I'm going to hit the car quick with Optimum Compound, Obsessive Detail Glaze, Opti-Seal& then top it all off with Wet Obsession.
Cooter 04-15-2008, 08:24 AM Dan are you gonna do a final polish on there too?? Like OD light polish, or are you gonna go straight from OC to the glaze? Is the OC a mild compound is the reason i'm asking.
Heath
Dan04COBRA 04-15-2008, 08:56 AM I may have the name wrong but whatever the finishing polish from Optimum will be what I take the light scratches from the car duster off. :DI'm pretty sure it's just Optimum Compound, but I could be wrong.
Cooter 04-15-2008, 09:38 AM Optimum Polish might give you what you need!!! Poli-Seal can also remove small defects too.
Dan04COBRA 04-15-2008, 10:07 AM Yeah sorry Optimum Polish is what I was going to use. :DHad a bit of a brain fart.
Juztang 04-15-2008, 10:22 AM That combo should look awesome Dan!
Dan04COBRA 04-15-2008, 10:51 AM I'm sure it's going to.
I was looking at the Wet Obsession before I tried it last night and I couldn't imagine how it was going to apply easy and come off easy. It looked hard as a rock, but I stuck my finger on it and looked like it melted instantly. I don't know why, but it humored me for a solid 2 minutes. Putting it on, it looked like I was spreading butter on the hood! It's good stuff....the amount I used on the hood makes me think this tin could do my car atleast 25 times, yeah?
Juztang 04-15-2008, 10:53 AM Actually you should be able to get 30 applications!
Dan04COBRA 04-15-2008, 11:09 AM Nice! So for the pre-order price that works out to be under $2 per coat. :D
I just bought a 5 gallon air compressor, no more california car dusters for me. Whatever I can't blow off, I'll hit with some Quick Detailer now. I'm sure it'll make drying and getting all the water out of the mirrors, bumpers & window trim a lot easier... For a while I was using the air cans from Staples & eventually from a supplier of mine. I have a bunch of compressors for work, I don't know why it never clicked with me to use one.
BTW, I don't know if I ever mentioned it but the Super Fly microfiber I got from you is awesome. I dropped it in some gravel the other day and I've spent entirely too much time picking it as clean as possible before I wash it a couple times. I find a way to ruin every good thing I own. [8D]
Juztang 04-15-2008, 12:14 PM The Super Fly is a pretty sweet towel. It not only looks good, but it performs awesome.
99 GT vert 04-15-2008, 12:18 PM the super fly is an amazing towel i fell in love with it the first time used it

Juztang 04-16-2008, 08:00 PM That looks nice Evan! I didn't realize that you posted those until you just mentioned it!
I see you have one of the containers where the graphics are peeling back. We hada problem with the first batch of labels. I think we have them worked out now.
99 GT vert 04-16-2008, 08:06 PM thanks
yea i noticed that the label was not sticking well but it probly wont last long so thats no big deal
SVTBill 04-16-2008, 11:15 PM don't let me forget to put in a preorder of this stuff tomorrow

Don't forget to order Bill! The preorder special will end tomorrow!
Margarita Girl 04-18-2008, 12:08 PM Justin,
I have the light polish, wet wax and wet glaze.
Does the Wet Obsession work as a 4th step or does it replace the wax or glaze?
Juztang 04-18-2008, 12:38 PM It can actually replace the Wet Wax and you will notice a huge difference in wetness and depth. Wet Obsession is a very high quality carnauba wax.
Dan04COBRA 04-19-2008, 12:52 PM Well...... I got a few pictures.
But the sun is making the camera not focus well since it's only a point and shoot POS... I'll post anyway...

I'll try to get a couple more pictures tonight when I can get a better shot with my crappy borrowed camera.
99 GT vert 04-19-2008, 02:50 PM looks good dan but next time try to keep your ugly face out of it haha
Dan04COBRA 04-19-2008, 03:24 PM Well there isn't a single cloud in the sky to show the depth and reflection it has so I figured to put my ugly mug in it, just so happened I yawned at the same time. [8D]
DuFFMaNN 04-19-2008, 04:03 PM I was wondering what that look was

Justin, I washed and clayed today. :)
One coat of your Light Polish, one coat Wet Wax.
You telling me that Wet Obsession will do better than this?

Yes the Wet Obsession will add even more depth and wetness to the paint. There are a lot of my customers that use the same combo that you are using over at the Fnsweet.com forum I sponsor, and everyone notices a night and day difference with the Wet Obsession!
Juztang 04-19-2008, 06:50 PM BTW- your paint looks very sweet!
Margarita Girl 04-19-2008, 06:57 PM Thank you.:) It was a beautiful day for detailing.
