On the serious note, it does take more than $800.00 to make a V6 super fast and all of it a torque monster. Parts are not that cheap it does not matter if they are from Ford, GM or Dodge, parts cost money. This guy with the GTP comes in here and start pissing on everyones weathies because he thinks that his $800 dollar parts gets him in the 12's. Sh!t, if that is the case I want one of those so i can spend 800 dollars and beat Mustangs and Hondas all day long.

I just have to get my .02 in here. Here is Doodad's, a former owner of an 03 cobra, stock dyno sheet. [IMG]http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc55/07GrabberMustangGT/ErdalsDynorun001.jpg[/IMG] Now, with the mods Doodad had, 2.76' pulley, tune, intake, and exhaust, on tires of course, he ran an 11.34 @ 121.78. How many GTP's run those times without more then 5K in them? Also, the fastest stock Cobra ran a 12.4@115. The fastest S197 ran a 13.2@104. Stop being a fan boy, and thinking a GTP is the greatest. Take your a$$ and drive a cobra, or a new mustang. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!! Also, Doodad put down 455 RWHP and 478 RWTQ.

Yup, Doodad sold it a while back. He now rolls in his LT1. It was a sad day indeed. EDIT- thanks for the fix

Yup, and traded it in with no regret for the termie. Which, both of his cars were sweet. But, thing about Doodad, he was an amazing driver. I envy the sob....

to beat a termie with a honda, you basically have to have something which is the equivalent of an 8 sec mustang. An 11 sec Honda GENERALLY isn't something very comfortable.

The one honda I ran against at the track was fast! Trapping 113 in the 1/4, but after the first 60 feet all he saw was my tail lights. Those 2.6 second 60 foots were killing him.

Why the f*** are they still trapping 112-114. Total horse poo poo right there. Hell, with a good driver, S/C'ed New Edges with 380 WTQ trap over 116 and run low 12's, and weigh around 3600 lbs with driver and everything else.
