Also, i'm pretty sure there are LOTS of GTP's that can take his Peon.

I have only seen a few GTP's from 97-02 run in the mid 14's, most are high 14's.  And there have been plenty of SRT-4's to run 13's stock and Blue's car runs 11's with ease.

WOW 11'S!! NO WAY!!! I can think of about 30 GTP's off the top of my head that run 11 or better L0L. My mildly modded GTP runs 12's

Good for you and your GTP Brothers, LOL.  If you came here to stir up some sh*t you're gonna get banned, and from the looks of things, you're not gonna be here long.  Any car can be made fast, some choose to go your route and some choose any easier route.

Hmm...''any car can be made fast'' So why did you say no matter what i have done to my car i still can't beat Blue's SRT-4. And if i get banned for something like this that really says alot for this site haha.

Beating Hondas and Mustangs is just another day in my office.

This was your 1st post in this thread, and that right there shows you came here to start trouble.  Why I have no idea because its only a forum and you're not likely to meet anyone from here.  It may show alot about this site, but you show alot about yourself by stating what you stated in your 1st post.  Sorry, but its not everyday you see GTP's running at the track, and if you do 99% of the time they're not running 11's or 12's.  I've been too a few different tracks and my local track numerous times and have yet to see 1 GTP run.  Hell I'll see 5 to 10 different SRT-4's, Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes and other numerous cars in a given weekend run.  I'm not hating against your car because I know what GTP's can do, but from the posts you've made, you're not making a good name for GTP owners.

From that I see in your sig, Beast is faster.

Just so you know most people don't label all your mods as "mild"

Have fun gettin flamed

Why because i said i beat alot of mustangs? Maybe i just happen to have more run ins with mustangs? You're the one that took it as an insult to all mustangs. Then you brought up ''no matter what you have done, blue's car will smoke you''. Yeah that's not dissing GTP's at all is it.

My mods are pretty mild too. I have the mildest aftermarket cam you can get, a medium sized pulley and a few bolt-ons. Only about $800 for everything.

Are you on any GTP forums?  If so, how would you feel if a Mustang guy came on there and his very 1st post was, "I beat GTP's all the time".  I'm pretty sure you, or any other GTP owner who was on at that time would take that as an insult and start flaming the piss out of me or whoever the Mustang owner is.  I only took an insult to you coming on our forums and trying to bust us out saying you beat Mustangs all the time.  About the Blue thing, you called his car a Peon and was basically talking down to him and his car, so since he wasnt on I figured I would stick up for him and let you know his car isnt stock aswell.

Ok, but what about the MSD wires, headers, catback exhaust and the other mods in your sig?  You have way over $800 invested in your car.  And sorry to say, but a pulley swap and cam are definately not mild mods.  And I'm about 110% sure you didnt get your cam, headers, exhaust, pulley and other mods you have for $800.

The headers, wires and exhaust are my bolt-ons. And no i don't have over $800 invested. I have the cam (300), headers (300), MPS (80), 3'' exhaust i made myself, intake i made myself with a $20 cone filter, and the plugs and wires were about $70 together. By the way i did the cam install myself.

Yeah, I was just about to go shopping for a GTP.

$800 to get one from 14's to 12's thats what I'm talkin bout.  With another $2k he could be in the 9's at that rate.

If it only costs $800 to get a car to drop 2 full seconds in the 1/4 mile than everyone would be doing it.  There has to be more to this story.

You realize that GTPs can drop a full second in the 1/4 with simple mods like pulley, PCM, intake exhaust?

my car came with 240 crank HP from the factory, and with those simple mods that 240 became about 290.

I'm making well beyond that now with my cam and headers but still, these cars good with mods.

Look how well 03-04 cobras respond to mods, it's the same thing with a GTP except on a 6 cylinder.

I would need a Turbo to dip into the 9's. With an I/C and some head work i would be deep into the 11's though

GTPs are pretty easy to get into the mid-low 12's but after that you're going to have to spend some money to keep going faster.

Ok, a full exhaust, smaller pullied and tuned 03-04 Cobra usually runs low 12's and with a great driver will hit high 11's.  That is no more than 1 full second on a 4.6 v8 S/C car.  Say you have a stock Cobra pushing 370rwhp and its only running high 12's, but yet your FWD car pushing roughly 300whp is running mid 12's.  It just doesnt add up man, and if it did nobody would be spending thousands of dollars on their Mustang to hit 11's or 12's, they'd be spending around $800 on their GTP.

That's just because performance parts for Mustangs are alot more expensive then for a GTP. Plus i got the cheapest set of headers you can buy for a GTP too. A better set would of been twice as much. Also a GTP with 300 whp WILL run mid 12's. That GTP will have over 400 wtq. That torque makes a huge difference. I doubt a stock cobra makes 370 whp either. Maybe 330 whp, since it's 390 at the crank. I can show you videos of 300 whp GTPs running mid 12's and trapping 112 mph if you like.
