So I'm at the point where my headlights seem to be beyond repair. I'm planning on buying some new smoked clear corner ones, but I wanted to know if there's some good way to keep them from fogging up. Is there more that I can do besides buying a higher quality one?

wax them and/or put sealant on them

lets see a picture of your headlights, you'd be surprised at what you can fix

I think they're almost beyond worth repairing, but here's the pics. Let me know what you think.

Keep them clean, wax them, get one of those clear films to protect them.... lots you can do to keep them looking nice.

If that haze and stuff is on the outside, use http://www.crystalviewchemicals.com/ to remove it. It works amazingly well. Mine weren't as bad as yours, but it made mine look brand new...
