Does anyone here have any real regrets?

35thAnni99GT -> Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 10:10:00 AM)

Not like zomg I wish I didn't eat that burrito last night, but real ones?

I regret not saying goodbye to my Grandpa and telling him that I loved him with meaning, before I left to go on a trip with my friend in Highschool. He died while I was gone, so now I try to tell everyone how I feel even if I may not only see them for a day, because you never know.

uhm yeah pissing off my last ex, she was amazing and i didnt treat her the way i should have. now shes got a bf and they r buying a house etc etc and i cant help but think that should be me buying a house w/ her and starting a life together. kinda wishy washy but its plagued me alot lately. i mean we were practically engaged and i had to screw it up by being a dick...i failed hard...

indisposible_teens -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 10:22:47 AM)

No, I do not have any regrets yet. But I am only 19 too. lol

35thAnni99GT -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 10:28:53 AM)

I still regret sometimes that I'm such a dick to the people closest to me. I don't know why I just am. I'm nice to them until I'm close/friends with them then I take them for granted and start being stupid.

brian1570 -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 10:32:59 AM)

yeah idk she was the only gf i was ever a dick too, but then again she was kind of a **** to me soooo it just wasnt meant to be. if i had been nicer i think i would still be dating her and miserable becuase she'd have me whipped. i think our personalities clashed too much but she was still amazing and i still kinda regret not making it work. =/ meh wat ever it was good while it lasted.

indisposible_teens -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 10:35:09 AM)

It is actually the opposite for me. I get close to people and they start to take advantage/take me for granted. My best friend moved in with me for 2 years and then I went on an internship last semester and when I got back he had moved out and taken all of his **** and part of my **** too. He won't return any of my calls and when ever I go over to his house he is never home...[8|] He is lucky I haven't seen him yet.[;)]

Wat brian said...+1...same here pretty much! Kinda regret that I didnt compromise a little more w/her. She did do a lot for me, I could have done some of the things she wanted to a little more, and not been so lazy. I really regret being so damn lazy though...[&o]

i think everybody has to make a mistake like we did to learn and not do it again. so now im looking forward to the next long term relationship because i will be a better person. just gotta stay optimistic and looking forward.

I regret not listening to my old man more when he was trying to drop some knowledge on my dumbass.  Only when I saw him lying there dead in the hospital room did I realize just how much I don't know.

Vegasfilter -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:05:21 AM)

i regret not taking that trip to Tucson to see my grandfather before he passed.  Did not have the funds but I do have credit cards for emergency use.  I didnt really know he would pass away a month later, but I wish I had taken that trip.

Mustangdemon67 -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:07:42 AM)

there was this girl i used to work with and we were really into each other. when i quit i didnt get her number and i regret it. but maybe it was for the best since she already had a husband and a kid

I regret not spending more time with my dad and now i'm older he figures I just have it all figured out and we missed out on alot of bonding time. [&o]

Morbid Intentions -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:18:39 AM)

everything I've done wrong in my life was used to learn with, it isn't a regret if I learned from the mistake

if I'm dumb enough to make any previous mistakes again then it would be a regret, but so far I havn't repeated anything major [:D]

fastbackford351 -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:34:11 AM)

Don't be so sure 35th.  I'm betting dimes to doughnuts that your old man would really dig the fact that you thought enough of him to call and ask his advice.  Might get the bonding ball rolling again.

Love 'em while you got 'em.

dirtydave289 -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:37:48 AM)

i regret not listening to my dad
i'm 16 and i've done so many things that he told me i would do and i really shouldn't and what not

ImpOnFire -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 11:57:39 AM)

i regret opening this thread..

but no really.. i regret not listening to my gut when i got married.. i knew i was doing it for the wrong reasons and shyt.. but i did it anyways thinking id end up loving the guy and that he was the only one that would treat me good..  1 year and 1 attempted murder later i found out i was definately wrong

35thAnni99GT -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 12:12:56 PM)

you tried killing him?

sarNz -> RE: Does anyone here have any real regrets? (4/10/2008 12:15:09 PM)

I regret not asking my dad if he was ok before he killed himself.  I knew he was depressed but you never think it's gonna happen.  Last thing he said to me was "have fun at work"
