Claying a car, as I found out today, is absolutely amazing. Anyone who is debating doing it, debate no more. Wow... I would post pics, but it got dark before I was done. Thanks everyone for pushing it so much... worth the work

Just did mine last night too....will wax it tonight. Actually looks waxed just with the clay...what did you use? I used Meguiar’s Quik Clay Detailing System. Can't compare it to anything else, since this was my first ever clay job :)

I was hoping to finally have weather I could do a proper full cleaning and detail this weekend, then I get up this morning and we have 8-12 inches of snow.
You guys are lucky to have nice weather.

Think I'd rather have snow than POLLEN! Everything an the Atlanta area is turning an ugly shade of green/yellow
yeah, almost the same color as your car nabster

The grass is always greener. I'd take pollen I could wipe off over this snow any day. It warmed up a few degrees and all the snow is settling down, roads are covered in slush, and of course I can't go out for a drive.

I have a clay bar kit but I don't have the tool to apply wax to the car. Should I wait? Or will it be OK to clay the car and not wax it afterwards? FWIW I doubt there is any wax left on the car from when the previous owner had it. I don't think he ever waxed it after he bought it.
