So here's the thing I have a auto 2000 gt and a manual 2000 gt, I want to sell them and get an 03 terminator and some pos daily driver. Is this worth it? I will baby the car 95% of the time and be in some pos prob 80% of the time. This is much less time in a mustang. What do I do? I'm thinking I'm gonna go through with it, anyone interested in a gt or know anyone who is?
If your looking to keep it stock, just use it for daily driving, and baby her, then go with the termi. I think if your going to get into serious mods, you should save a little cash for mods and go with an 01 cobra and a kenne bell. Up to you though, to each his own
One of the cool things about the Terminators is if you stay out of the throttle, they can make great daily drivers (I drive mine every day). You only live once, and I don't know if a non-mustang daily driver would make you happy; but if it was me, I'd trade in both GTs and drive the Terminator all the time.
Course, if you commute a long way every day and need an econo-box for gas mileage that might be a different deal.

With the 01 though, you are going to be limited to 450-500 HP before you have to start worrying about blowing her up.
If you can afford it, go Terminator for sure.

^ yeah, its just not that often that you have a dd over 500 hp. I guess it just seems like you could through a kenne bell on an 01, save some cash, and have a really hot dd. But i totally agree with going for a termi if your going 500+

why not sell the auto gt, and use the money to build the manual one? I mean unless your dead set on a terminator... they have a lot of cons.. They run hot, they have frequent stupid issues like the alternators and Fuel rail pressure sensors.. The IRS is the worst IRS in the industry, and they're fat.
We all know the pros... but, I mean you sell your other car and take that money and build the other one... you'll have a nice little GT man.. faster then the Termy...
Unless you want the SVT, lol - then if you WANT it.. you do only live once - go for it.

uhm, I don't know where you're getting 20mpg from on a Terminator? lol... best i ever saw highway cruising at 80mph... on cruise control was about 18mpg... and at the time I only had intake/exhaust on my Terminator... out of boost the whole time.
1988 chevy K1500- 350ci bored .30 over, flat tops, shorty headers, o/r Ypipe, drop in air filter, fuel pressure regulator,...to bad they dont make a eaton for my truck :(

keep it on cruise at 55mph the whole way and your stock... that's why. That's not truley feasible... I mean I could probably have had my ported Cobra and gotten 25 City mpg, but I didn't wanna change the gear ratio and I loved Boost, lol... lol... It's a possibility but not what happens in the real world.
I have an '03 Cobra as a daily driver, and I will never get rid of it! I had a F-250 as a daily driver and loved it before diesel went up to near $4.00 per gallon! The only potential drawback I can think of is that the terminator's have a very tight and low clutch. It will wear your left leg out going through town, but as soon as you hit the gas you forget about your leg. I was worried about overall comfort both in summer and winter, but the AC is ice cold and the heat works great too. The seats are awesome. It's like sitting in a cock pit, and because of the suede centers you don't have to worry about the seat burning your a** in the summertime! There are also full electronic controls, so you can fit them to comfort. I drove 8 hrs. to pick mine up, drove back through the night and I don't remember ever being uncomfortable. Depending on how far you live from work, the gas isn't that bad. Stock fuel economy is 17/23, if I'm not mistaken, and you can get it tuned to do better than that. Aside from being comfortable it is also a head turner.
I definitely recommend doing it! I know I would drive mine over a lexus any day of the week!!
LOL @ the people that think gas is a good selling point. I can't go anywhere in my carw ithout spending at least 20 bucks in gas. It's the fastest car ever for under 35k is prolly a better selling point.

I have an 03 cobra and a pos gti as a daily driver and i love it, when you take the cobra out after driving the pos it makes you fall back in love with them everytime i would say do it. I just sold my 01 Bullitt to buy my terminator and i don't regret it one bit
