LOL @ the people that think gas is a good selling point. I can't go anywhere in my carw ithout spending at least 20 bucks in gas. It's the fastest car ever for under 35k is prolly a better selling point.

z06 wasn't available for under 35k. He was talking brand new... now you cant buy a faster car under 30k --- the only z06's faster then the stock cobra are the c6's and the ones that came in 03' and 04' - and those aren't even much faster.. around 2-3 tenths when driven at potential.
The one thing I hated about my Terminator were the nuances and upkeep... the tires, alternator (that went out 3 times in a year), the IRS worries, the clutch, the clutch quadrant... things like that... They're incredible cars, but it's like having a mistress - it'll take all your money.

I love my car, I plan to keep it as long as I can! I did the pulley swap, etc. daily driver for 30k miles, not ONE problem except the tires tend to go bald :). No alternator issues, wheel hop, etc. here. I do have the IRS Brace and Nitto DR's though.

I had nitto d/r also... it still hopped... I know i can only blame myself for tires, lol... 500rwhp daily driver did that, lol... but, you're very lucky you've never had to replace the alternator... they're all hit or miss, mostly hitting... oh and i forgot the FRPS sensor... that's another one.. along with the loss of coolant..
Don't get me wrong - I LOVED my Cobra, but I just want to make sure the OP knows what he's getting into.. most people have those problems.
