Default change of exhaust plans & a couple ?s

Just finished putting up a post to Legion5 about MAC long tubes vs Stainless Works (SW) long tubes. Hell, everything's ok if it works. I don't think I'm gonna install the complete SW dual exhaust system. I've decided to go with the system pictured below because it fits more in line with my original goal of keeping weight down and keeping it simple. You bet I'm gonna keep the real nice long tube headers, but as you can see the system below includes high flow cats and the big diameter (2 1/2 inch) y-pipe with all bungs for the O2 sensors. I'm eliminating the mid-pipe I'm now running and will also ditch the Pypes muffler delete tailpipe. I'm just gonna put a turndown on the end of the y-pipe and keep the "rumble" in the system. Maybe a little bit louder than what's there now. I promise I'll still put up the install post for the long tube headers. I think I've pretty much decided to eventually go with an X-Charger. So I'll be asking you guys for opinions and directions on that when the time comes. I've got the weight of my car down to 2955 lbs. The super charger should really make things come alive. Take care guys. Be back soon, Jack.

Why not go with true duals all the way?? It's like a waste for the LT headers only to be used on a Y-pipe...

Jack, you need to run that car at the track BEFORE the x-charger install. I wanna see what it'll run while it's still NA.
