headers, oil pan, intake, distributor, certainly dump the c6 unless you dont mind beating the trans tunnel with a sledgehammer.

actually i think the c6 will fit...but im not sure if a c6 will bolt up behind a 351w...unless ur 351w block is a bigger...because i had a c6 tranny and was gonna put it behin my 351w and it was way to big..it came of a 351m (a bigger 351 block)

i could be wrong tho..there could be bigger or smaller 351w that will bolt up a c6

dump the c6 weighs alot and wont be needed

no there is no different size 351 windsors(excluding deck height?) the bell patern for a 289 302 and 351 windsor all share the same bellhouse paterns. not sure but the c6's might come in different bolt paterns. that would make the most sense

OP, you wont have to change much but you may want to upgrade some things. Fuel systems might be one of those things to look into, but it will depend on how much power you plan on. you'll need a swap oil pan, swap headers and a swap accessories bracket for power steering and a/c

WELL, a 351w,351c,302,289, and even 300 6cyl all have the same bell pattern... now a 351m,400m,429, and 460 all have the same bell pattern so that's why your C6 didn't work... a C6 will fit without tunnel mods i have put one behind a 429 and a 351w in mustangs without mods, BUT if you can get a C4.. the C6 IS ROUGHLY A 30 H.P. HANDICAP TO A C4. unless you have a 300 hp + motor a C4 will be fine BUT go over that with some tires and suspension that will hook up and a stock C4 will break ben there done that[:@]. a c6 will hold more power yes but sucks power to.

Even with a built 351 drop the c6. It is heavy, bulky, and a parasite. Put a little money into a built c4 and have at it.

On the bolt pattern, don't forget the 232 v6 also has the same pattern.

Depends on how much you have in it. At least that plus little more. Clean it up and throw on a nice clean coat of paint and you wil prolly get a little more for it. It would be nice for someone who is building a big block.
