so I was reading the latest Motor Trend, as I often do, and they had this article comparing the 2008 Roush Stage 2, 2008 Saleen S281-3V, and the 2008 Shelby GT-C

As I'm sure you all know, they deem the Shelby the best of the three

But my question is, what is the difference between the Shelby GT and the Shelby GT-C?

Shelby GT-C is a California model.I believe it comes with the dashtop guage pod standard and only in Grabber Orange.Pretty rare as they were to only make 200 of them.Other than those differences it is just like the standard Shelby GT.

the gt-c in the article includes 20" razors and baer brakes. didn't know they could be bought from dealers with options???

I think that must have been a special order.
Most of the ones at dealers have the 18" polished Bullitts.

I'd go with the Bullit for probably less than what that'll run. At least the Bullit also has a 3.73 in rear. I bet the stripes are vinyl vs painted. They wouldn't last too long here in AZ.
