Okay, so I looked at the link to CrazyAl's explanation and everything and he says that a shop modifies the Spydershaft after you buy it? I thought it came ready to drop into a mustang???

So any idea on power rating yet, 06Sal? Figure 800 ftlbs of torque for a rating. I wont be at that level for a while but I dont want to have to replace it when I get there. I might just hold off and get one of the Carbon Fiber ones that is good for 1000hp. I just hate that clunk, seemed to get 100 times worse after the blower. I think it is the instant torque down low.

Just got off the phone with Ron. Here are some questions we cleared up... What kind of power can these things hold? *Ron told me that Sutton has a car running 700rwhp on the Spydershaft for over a year now with absolutely no problems. He told me the car gets run hard as well.* Any problems with the aftermarket shifter? *The only aftermarket shifter that the Spydershaft is not compatible is the Saleen short-throw* How much of a difference is there from the 1330-Series U-joints and the 1350-series? *The 1350 series are said to hold twice the ft-lbs of torque. The 1330's are said to withstand 120-140 ft/lbs, but can most likely handle more. The 1350-series are an additional $120.* Let me know if you have any other questions guys n' gals. Thanks!
