Ok, so I did read you right, just checking...............my comment about "retro" wasnt the focus of what I was saying and it doesnt matter if its a 2005 S197 or a 2004 modular, the point here is "opinions" and then throwing out some ideas or suggestions. Dude, this is what a "forum" is all about but thanks for your interjection anyway!!!

I don't really like them either on or off.

By the way I noticed my third brake light is out too.

I saw these on a car just 2 days ago. Drove behind him for about 5 miles. I thought they looked great. Still do.

autozone and pep boys sells led counter parts to the stock bulbs if you want to go that route. If times comes to change my bulbs, then I may consider the led ones.
