Of course, just haven't decided if I like them or not (oddly enough). Of all the things I've done to the stang, I've immediately liked them and can back them. I'd be damned if I take them off so soon though. :D

Need to get replacement bulbs for the stock fixtures. Just might go back to stock in a few months.

I was hoping they would look better, cause the price of them on ebay is about 1/2 of what it used to be..

and ya if you type in the tags they mess up from time to time

sometimes its because in IE it makes the address a link using the url tag and those two (url and image) have an order they must be in if you want to make a picture link

other time other stuff messes with the image tag

Yep, I paid about $125 + shipping on eBay. They were like $200-$300 every where else, which was too much for an experiment.

I saw a thread about these same fixtures some time late last year and thought they looked pretty sharp on the silver stang I saw. The clear accent that spreads all the way across all three lights really set these off.

@Kara, yes the LEDs are much brighter than stock, but only if you're directly behind the car. From angle they're dimmer making the stock lights seem brighter.

You know how it is, there's nothing wrong with the car, but we like to personalize. These practically look stock, except for when they light up. One of my stock bulbs blew out, and I like the instant on/off of LEDs, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to experiment. At the very least, if I don't like it, I can switch back to stock and buy a replacement bulb. [8D]

They're nice, I'm getting some as well, but I'm going to get the smoked taillight covers since they're so much brighter.

First thing that came to mind was Star Wars, don't know why... definitely isn't rice IMO.

I'm in the same boat. I still can't decide. Maybe I'll go stare at them again for another 10 minutes.

Yesterday when I put the left side on first, I stepped back and just looked at them. Tilted my head. Turn them on. Played with the blinker... hey that's pretty cool. Went inside to grab something from the house, then came back out and was like "WHOA! These look nice!" and put on the right side.

Then I did my own little speed car wash. Then looked at them again while the sun was down and I'm back to being undecided. :eek:

Wondered the same. A fellow MF'er here has teh sequential kit and LEDs. He said it only lights up two of the 3 lights.. so doesn't work well.

definitely can't use the meter4it kit cuz it replaces the inboard socket on both sides

If youre undecided, paint them black and you could never tell that they were once "rice" LED's. Thats what I was planning on doing since painting the tail lights makes stock ones pretty dim.

Yep, that is under consideration. Might just get black out or smoked covers that way I can use them on my stock fixtures if or when I switch back.

I don't care for them but maybe the pictures don't show them well.
Bottom line, if you like them go with it.

I think they look good... only if the the bottom white lenses could be tinted red looking just like a factory tail light.

I lean toward no.....I think the sequentials are the way to go and keep the factory retro look of the car, with a cool twist!!!! You should check out sequentials dude!!!!

I didn't notice it until now, but I have this white underscore accent going on that's totally unintentional. First I have the factory stripe over the rocker panels, then I have my grille bezel that lines the bottom of the grille (got the idea from the '67 stangs), then now I have the clear bottom to my tail lights. Kinda works out.. :)

If you press the right pedal just rite you could have them cream themseves on your seat in seconds and cream themselves again withought the pedal.

Got a compliment from three coworkers yesterday: one was a dude and a good buddy of mine, an older woman that drives an 03 Mach 1, and a cutie pie. Didn't have to tell them I changed anything, except for the dude.

Don't think my boss likes them though. He said "they're different." Whatever, the dude drives an xB. Probably one of the uglier cars I've seen.

Nah, I got a PM from a fellow MF'er yesterday saying how he's using the stock housing but LED bulbs instead and tied it in with the sequentials. Looks awesome. I'd go this route too if I can find out where to get those LEDs.

I saw these on a car just 2 days ago. Drove behind him for about 5 miles. I thought they looked great. Still do.

autozone and pep boys sells led counter parts to the stock bulbs if you want to go that route. If times comes to change my bulbs, then I may consider the led ones.

not rice at all, but i prefer the original bulbs
