i was just strolling through justins site and looking at the customer rides and came across this 01 roush.  that has to be some of the best looking paint i have ever seen.  it just looks so rich, deep, and dripping wet. i think i have seen this guy around the forums before, but was just wondering what kind of products he was using to get his paint to look that good.  anyone with any info would be awesome.

Ryan,
I think a good polish, glaze, and wax would give you a look that good. To me, red is a great color that is great at looking really deep and wet. A pc with the correct pads and application would really be nice. Along with some Optimum OID would really give you a good look IMO. Some of Justin's new paste would give you some nice depth. But since the pics are in Justin's customer rides section i'm sure he's using Justin's products.

Spit-shining a paste will also give you some great depth. Its pretty time consuming, but the results are killer.

He is using Light Polish, Wet Glaze, and Wet Wax topped with Optimum Opti Seal on that.  Everything was also applied with the PC.

I prefer to spit shine with some water in a spray bottle.  I put the bottle in the freezer until I start to see a little bit of ice forming and then it is ready to use.  You want to make sure that if you use a quick detailer it doesn't have any cleaners in it because you will just strip off the previous layer of wax.  Also you can't spit shine with any wax that has cleaners in it.  I like to spit shine for car shows, it does give the paint a lot more depth and wetness.

so with spit shining all you do is spray some water on the paint as you are waxing it

i wouldn't spit shine with a beauty wax on a daily driver, more-so on show cars, because it's easy(er) to remove the top layer of wax
