Default Latest gas milage info

Well I just made a round trip to Florida, near Pensacola from here in SC. I had the 93 performance tune loaded up on the way there, averaged 29 mpg. Drove the last leg (maybe 90 miles)and loaded up the 93 torque tune. Got 23 mpg with2 days of city driving. Drove back to SC and got 31 mpg on the way back. So my extra mods (duals, headers, 17" bullitts) really had no adverse effects on milage. Don't know why I got more on the way back, but I stayed in the cruise more. Had a dead stop on the interstate on the way to FL, all of that sitting idling probably hurt, and had to get out of cruise going that waya lot more also. I'm happy...

Nice. Love the gas mileage out of my sixxer I can even hit 33mpg on some freeways. Just depends on the grade, the wind and of course driving conditions.

That was on the highway. Normally around town, I get far less gas milage on the torque tune because I can't keep my foot out of it. I love that tune.

Well in town, (Detroit) my MPG sux 15/18 depending on my foot. But, the other day I had a chance to drive a little past Jackson (120 miles) and back. I have a manual trans. I put it in 5th, ran it at about 70, and I got about 29.7 mpg. I was shocked!!! 30 mpg.

I get like 10. No, I don't have the lead foot. I only drive city, and there is a light every 500 ft. No joke.

Gas, brake, gas, brake, explode.
