the kit should fit fine. Not sure what you mean about the rpms, maybe spray some cleaner on your cable where it meets the tb

yes it will. If your talking about a mustang gt than the fly wheel is cast iron vs aluminum in the termi that makes a difference... and +1 on the tb

its a 99 cobra
but i unplugd a vacuum hoes that went from the intake manifold to the valve cover the rpm lowerd much faster but the idle was rough
so then i put it back on

and is it good to power shift with a mustang i had some ppl tell me its a good way to race
i was wondering if it would mess it up

what i mean by powershifting is keeping the throttle wide open when shifting gears
hold the throtle push in clutch and shift then let go clutch good or badd

powershifting is a effective way to drop a few tenths on the et.  just make sure you dont miss a gear while doing it or your tranny wont last very long.  I personally dont powershift cause of fear of missing a shift. some people have powershifted for a long time and have had no problems. id say dont do it alot just when you race and "feel" your clutch when your driving

power shifting = bad
If you want your tranny to last don't power shift.  Missing gears just makes it worse, but the huge change in RPMs when you power shift is what eats ur sh#$ up.

its hard for me to miss a gear because i got a short shifter and my shifter is really stiff only way it can move is thru gears and in nutreal
but iv only blew a tranny racing normally like u know letting off the throttle but so far powershifting has been really good to me lol
my friend showd me power shifting with his 91 honda crx with a b16a i was like wtf are u doing
so then i tryd it and loved it
