Thanks. Even if he said it was safe, I don't use the tunes. It is very annoying and I have to protect my car.

I loaded my 91 performance tune from vmp and havent heard any thunking noises, my radio is off and all i heard is my cai and my exhaust. I guess its the car?

I have VMP 93 and 87 Performance tunes, and I am very pleased with them--no issues.  I chose VMP because of good feedback, excellent dyno-info on their website and I communicated with a few members on this forum who had BAMA tunes that caused their cars to run dangerously lean.

I have heard good things from both tuners. I just bought and now using the Bama 93 race tune. What a difference.

I noticed on Bama's website that he offers a custom verson of the tunes for autos....Problem solved?
