I ordered SCT Xcal2 from VMP with 87 gas mileage, 87 performance and 91 performance. Around 1200 rpm , the car is noisy with all 3 tunes. If I press gas pedal harder, the noise is louder, the car accelerates and the noise stops. It seems that the transmission slips or exhaust noise. When I slow down at a stop sign, I hear a thump noise from the back with all 3 tunes. It seems that the transmission is slow to release. I don't know if the noises are normal or not. They don't happen with stock tune. I return to stock to make sure that I don't destroy my car.

I use VMPs 93 mileage tune as my daily driver. The car runs very hard and I love the way it shifts.       tientran: You should call Justin immediately and let him know what your car is doing. I'm sure he can fix your problem.

I got myself a 91 oct evo perf. tune. Although it is a really good tune as far as I can tell, I don't really recommend going with Evolution since it VERY difficult to get in touch with anyone. If you want to get ahold of Fred or have him ever call you back, good luck.

I think i'm going to switch over and get a tune from Doug @ Bama next.

I have the 87 perf, 93 tq, and 93 race tunes from BAMA loaded on an SCT X3 tuner.  The tunes are great, especially the 93 race tune.  It totally changes how the car feels when you get on the gas.  Also, Doug is easy to get in contact with via e-mail.

My car is Auto. To my surprise, many person have that problem. I thought only me. I emailed Justin many times about the noise at 1200 rpm. He said that was the exhaust noise. I don't know. Maybe, it is exhaust noise, maybe not. The problem is no noise with stock tune. I haven't asked him about thumping noise. If any of you has something new about the problem, please tell me. Thanks.

Thanks Mustang_guy17. But it is very annoying. Did he say it is safe? I won't use the tunes. I will order other tune from Bama or Brenspeed later.

Bamachips, just because they support the Diablo Predator.  If I had an SCT, I probably would have went with Brenspeed.  That being said, I have no complaints at all with my Bamachips tune.

Bama usually takes some time to get their intakes in, so it may take a couple weeks. I love their stuff, but you'll probably wait a whilefor it.

same here. i'm kinda curious on vmp's tunes but since he doesnt support diablo's, i dont think the effort/money of getting a new programmer is worth it. i like my predator unit anyways.
