im working on a 05 gt mustang and have most of the shelby parts, hood scoop,front bumper,side scoop ex...... and my car is silver, I would like to put shelby gt side stripes on but I need to know how tall your rocker stripe is and how long and tall the shelby gt is in the rocker stripe.

most GT's on here are modded w/ aftermarket parts from shelby, roush, whipple, ford racing, ARH, saleen, etc.some shelby's are modded w/ aftermarket parts that are not shelby. if you want to put an aftermarket part on your car that just so happens to have the name shelby on it, so what. so the guy wants to put parts on that all say shelby, it will probly look pretty nice!

And owners of real Shelbys know there's no posing your way into the Shelby Registry!:D

No matter how much you try to throw into a base GT it won't make that list!
That alone is worth the extra price for a lot of Shelby buyers.

Don't forget a Ford Racing Cold air to complete the fantasatic 18hp engine upgrade.

Don't get all asshurt Shelby GT people because you paid an extra 15k for hood pins, stripes, a bodykit,and exhaust and you don't want to share.

Do what you want with your car. LIke it was stated, you can'tput it on the registry...

some of us got more than a CAI, exhaust, and all that other dress up stuf:)

damn, what's with the shelby bashing? fact is, most of the people that you'll see showing up on forums with shelby's these days, will have paid $33K-$38K for them. well worth the price of admission.

i, for one, would not pay $40K for a shelby gt, any sooner than i'd pay $50K+ for a gt500, because neither are worththose prices, but I don't hate on the cars because some people chose to over pay for them.

This may be a little late, but you can go to http://www.shelbyperformanceparts.com (http://www.shelbyperformanceparts.com/) and get all the emblems, stickers, gearshifts, brakes, etc that are on the Shelby GT and the GT500.
