I have started putting my 84 Gt back together.Was wondering what suspension packages you guys are using?Or suggest.It will be driven at most 3000 -4000 miles a year and have some track time.I would like best of both worlds nice ride on highway(doesn't have to be great)and be nice for the 1/4 mile runs at the track a few times a year.Don't need it for road racing. Looking to replace Lower A frame new ball joint struts shocks Any suggestions would be great!!(also will be looking into upgrading rotors,calipers breaking system and comverting to five lug)
For springs, I'd definitely stick with a progressive rate, and a soft spring rating. You definitely do not want anything which is too stiff, and can affect weight transfer. yes I am planning on spindle upgrade while doing the 5 lug conversion.
I like the control arms. was hoping their was more to pick from on the shocks and struts
