What kind of box do you have? any pictures?? I was just going to get subs for my Jeep only but I only drive that in the winter so I figured if I could get a box that fits the mustang I would be able to just move the subs and amp into the Jeep during the winter. So if 2 12's would fit in the stang good that would work out well cause it would still pound pretty good in my Jeep then.Anyone else have any expereience????
I think i posted up about this before. I have a '00 vert and I have a custom box made for my 2 10" infinity kappas. They are bottom firing and sound awesome. I havent noticed a lot of loss, of course except when the top is down. The box can be removed, and would fit in a jeep easily. I have it custom sloped at the top from the face back, with a lifted base...about 1" up from the floor boards. My 1400 watt amp is mounted on the front face of the box. It takes up almost all of the trunk under the top, but I still have room around the sides and in front. if i can get some pictures posted I will.

CHIC, if you are able to I would love to see some pictures cause that is exactly what I would like to do!!! If you cant post them ill give you my email if thats easier!Anyone else??
i have two 10 inch kidker subs in my 92 convertible. if the 05 are similar, the largest sub you can fit is two 10 in without a major custom box. they sound clean but nothing like a coupe or hatchback. i have taken out the back seat cuz no one ever sits back there and i'm going to build a custom box with two 12's. the only thing about the subs in the trunk in convertible is the fact that it helps the rear end squat better cuz of the weight. the box i have is an L shape so that it'll fit underneath by the motor. hope this helps.

soon to come:
100 shot, rear suspension and new tires
I'm looking to build a subbox that'll sit rightin the back seat use quick release connectors so the thing can be removed if someone ever wants to sit back there. I'm thinking having the speakers facing forward right behind the front seats should help gain some of the bass loss that verts will have lol but now I'm wondering if a "bottom firing" design in the back seat would be a better idea? I'm not planning on removing the back seat, just make a box that sits ON the seat

I have thought about doing something like this, I am a college student so whenever someone sits in the back it is usually not planned so that would be the main problem with that, unless I would be able to make it so that I could take it out and just set it in the trunk. So it would just have to be small enough to fit into the trunk, which I think it could work! I move home on May 4th, so that will start the process of what I really want to do cause I have a nice big garage and tools at home. Please attach more pictures if you start it and also anyone who has pics of there subs in there trunk that would be great. Thanks!!!
