just got back from getting my car dyno'd. we got the afr (air to fuel ratio) down to about 12.8 which is a lot better than the 15 it was running with my steeda tuned SCT. timing turned up a little but we ran out of time to play with it b/c i have work this afternoon.

314.9HP / 333.3 TORQUE

next week, we are installing charge motion plates and new motor mounts; also going to have a little more time to play around with the timing and stuff. he said that there is easily another 15-20HP we can get out of it right now so we shall see.

Did the plasma booster net any hp gains?

honestly, i couldnt tell you as far as the seperate HP increase. this is the first time i have dyno'd my car and it already had everything installed. when i put on the ignition, i also changed out the gears and i noticed more power from those mods but couldnt tell you how much power increase came from each one.

Most times an upgraded ignition will not show much if any real hp gains, unless there was somthing wrong with old one. The main reson to upgrade is for reliability and to help promote a more complete burn. Also if you are running any type of FI an upgraded ignition is a must due to the increased pressure in the combustion chambers.

what he said...i dont care if the article says that it creates 12HP/12TQ or not, trust me, it doesnt. I read in a MM&FF where they modded up an 05 GT part by part and dyno'd it each time. The best increase the Plasma booster gave it was 3HP/2TQ. I was just impressed with the spark curve it creates and figured that it would be easier on the car.
