You would think the shop management would keep visitors away from there. Irresponsible if you ask me... not to mention the victim was an idiot.

In Dyno 101, you learn that having anybody standing around the vehicle is a hazard and any responsible shop tech will tell lurkers to get the Hell away during Dyno runs. Once you've seen a driveshaft break loose on a dyno, you'll never go near it again - I have, it was nasty.
Of course, a lot of shops don't seem to have the brains for that, especially it seems this one in [insert anonymous Eastern Block country].
