I always see those SVT cobra stock eaton super chargers on ebay going for real cheap. Usually less than 1K. Is just a different intake required to bolt those on? why does everybody get rid of them, are they not very good and not worth getting?

If you have a 2v motor, it won't work. Besides, I say stay away from used Eaton roots blowers. When they get spun to their max, the impellors over time can get whiney, and a lot less efficient
