I don't like Rust-Oleum. My dad and I painted his old 71 f-100 with rust-oleum and it was not durable at all and was hard to spray.
I'm using a Nason Ful-cryl single stage on my car and it is easy and cheap, and I've heard that since they are just the buget minded Dupoint that it is a decent quality paint

Alright thanks level, I'll look into it.

Well i got some new tires for my truck. My dads rims on his van were **** so he bought a newer set off craiglist and they come with NEW tires... literally they have about 98% tread on them. He is puttin his tires on the rims and giving the tires to me. They are the same exact size as my other tires so on my next payday i'll take those in and have em swap them on for me. I'll probly paint the rims gloss black too

I needed better tires, when its wet and rainy out and I turn corners the tires like to spin when I let off the clutch with very little throttle. It makes pulling out in traffic impossible.

UPDATE... kinda, i was workin on my truck earlier today, and my neighbor came over and we just talked about trucks and ****... hes a chevy guy but still likes fords. So anyway I told him I planned on a 4 brrl swap on it and he gave me a edlebrock 625cfm carb that needs a minor rebuild and clean-up. So i am gonna rebuild up and then I am gonna find a intake off of craigslist. then I can swap it. So yeah... a free 4 brrl kicks ass

**** you sleeper!! lol.

Yeah its not the best looking. My fuel milage is around 16mpg. I could get more if i keep my foot out of the gas

but yeah, anyways, about those rims... I took them to have the tires put on them and mounted.... and the lug spacing is too small

i think 16 mpg is about as good as you'll get, but to be honest thats pretty good mileage for what it is.  expect your mileage to drop after swapping carburetors unless you keep the secondaries closed to conserve gas

Well if hes switching to just a 4bbl from a 2bbl all you have to do is keep your foot out of it and you should be alright. Easier said than done tho

Thats right, a 4bbl will get you better gas mileage for cruising. The only time its gonna suck the gas hard is when you full throttle it opening everything the carbs got.

Anyway i went and bought a nicer air cleaner for under the hood.

Before

After

yup. you might get 18 with the 4bbl.  all do to the fact that the primaries are smaller.  but when those secondaries open up.. gawd... enjoy 10 mpg.  i did it for 4 years

With a grill and some bigger rubber i think that would be a kick ass looking truck

I actually like the paint as is, although you need more chrome on that 351, and try to find a tail gate
