boosted23 -> Why don't my tires squeal when i peel? (4/4/2008 12:40:10 AM)

I bought a set of Cooper Zeon 2XS's, when i mash on the gas they spin and smoke but don't make any squealing. Why don't they squeal? And why arn't my #11's that i make on the road more permanent like others i see? What kind of tires are good for loud squealing and permanent marks?

Let me understand...... You want purchase new tires leave better marks with you romp on the gas? [&:]

The tires you have are probably softer and less likely to squeal. I have always run high quality tires as I DON'T want them to spin or lose traction b/c I like to hit corners HARD. None of my tires have NEVER squealed and I prefer it that way. If you want smoke, put a couple gallons of Clorox bleach down just in front of the wheels and then romp and hang on as you will get your smoke [8D]

good tires don't squeal, they go 'shwiisihhh'..soft.
you want lots of squealing, smoke and drama? Go buy firestones. Cheap, loud tires.

lmao, my girlfriend asked me this once.

we took of one day from my place, and when i stoped at a stopsign to turn right, there was a puddle right at the stopsign, so i made sure the rear tires where in it.

i put it in first, and took my turn, and about half way through the apex, i mashed it, went almost completely sideways, and then fishtailed for about 30ft, then keep spinning another 20or so, light smoke behind us.

my gf gos "it would be cooler if your tires squelled like in the movies"

i just rolled my eyes[:-]

If you were in the movies, you would squeel when spinning in the dirt [8D]

best sounding tires when lit up are bfg''s m/t''s might be a little hard on the quarters but def make a HUGE pile of rubber, leave wicked dark strips and are rediculously loud.... or so im told [;)]
