sold the yota yesterday.... car is going in in 2 weeks (grrr long wait) to FINALLY get my exhaust put on:D

also getting me a set of anthratic GT wheels

and combined with a grad present from school from my rents, getting my taxes back and selling the truck, i also ordered a VMP SCT xcal 3, a Detroit true trac, and a set of 3.73s(:eek:[&:]):D

my mach 1 grill delete and chin spoiler came today.... it looks soooo sexy... the grill delete was sorta easy to do... the bottom screws were a PITA (took longer to find the right tool, didnt have a socet set with me etc etc) then actually putting it in, grill delete was also a small pain but over all im happy with it..... now i just need to get my DR door repainted still from when i got hit a few months ago[:@]

I got this off eBay, from this seller and was really pleased with the product, it came in 8" & 14" lengths. Good quality, fast cheap shipping etc. You could cut your antenna but for less then 20 bucks shipped i'd go for this. Reception stayed the same and it improved the look of the car alot.

^dont get that, looks bleh. 15 bucks at american muscle will get you a 14" stock looking one thats even with the roofline.


BUT for free, carefully remove the ball wiht pliers/ cut mast at height you want it. youll need to shave the end down a little to get the ball on(use some krazy glue to stick it good). coat of paint. then install and admire.

Just an idea why dont you go with an electric one that goes up and down?? Cause all the short antennas that I have tried just dont seem to work all that well. You would wire up a switch that would allow you to put it up and down whenever you want even if your radio is on. Or you could just let it go up when you radio is on.

well i have a heavy right foot

i know what my plans are.... a lot of other ppl have the same, but well see who actually goes through with it... im just gonna stay quiet and do it :D

my imediate plans are:

new rubber on the rims, probably gonna go with fuzion ZRI 275 rear 245 front

get the gears installed (once they get here)

new stereo, still got the mach 460 blown to sh*t POS in there, nothing serious just like 4 polk speakers, good HU, and a 10" in the trunk

i got hit a while ago, i need to get my driver door repainted, and im probably gonna do the rear bumper and front bumper along with them cause they are chipped, might try and up to a cobra R hood to while its getting painted

next upgrade to a roush suspention, i think it was summit that had em with springs, struts and sway bars

hey man i got the money for the wheels today....ill go tomorrow and try to find a box. it may be wednesday or so before i can get them out but dont worry they will be there in no time ;)

FU*CK fed ex i ended up going with an MAC off road H pipe and was going to have the shop weld in 2 high flows for me due to pypes being on a 2 week back order, and fed ex said it was delivered a week ago! [:@] so now i have been arguing with them trying to find it.. good news is acording to UPS my DTT should be here tomorrow and i havent herd back from MPS on the gears[&:](their inventory is still down i sent them an email)

alright so my car was SUPPOSED to go in the 21st for the exhaust... well i got a call from the exhaust shop today..... he said drop it off this monday instead and that someone else canceled:D

also vmp just emailed me with the news that my tuner is on the way

EXHAUST IS ON!!!!!! it sound sooo awesome nice sweet spot right at 2500 rpms.. 3k-4k is a litte ehhhh, idle and up top are awesome! still need the 02 sensors which ill be ordering soon, not to raspy eaither, im glad i kept 2 cats

my Xcal came in today, makes a nice differeance especially with the auto, i spin 245s going into second now:D

and there is a guy about 20 minutes away with 2 275/40zr17goodyear F1GS... they have half tread.... but for fifty bucks.... they will last through the summer (hopefully)

next up is probably going to be the rear end, but i got to lower it. how far down can i slam it before i need C/C plates?

did you keep the AB tints on the fogs?

youll need c/c plates at around 1.5"- so basically a prokit.

Take off the side stripes, lower it (which I think you plan on doing), window tint= almost perfect looking car IMO... sweet carman.

your gonna love the truetrac. mine was finally installed 4 days ago and i have already done the 400 mile brek in period. i have a set of strips about 100 feet long in front of my house now about 275MM wide with about a 3' gap then 2nd gear strips are about 30' long and alittle fainter.

did you get those halo' in yet??? if so did you notice it being smoother. also what muffs are you running???

yea halos are in it seems really smooth now but then again i had 80k on the original plugs [8D]im running the force pro sereis mufflers 2.5" along with the rest of the system... i got to find a video camera to get a clip, and im really glad i kept at least 2 cats on it

I was in a big debate with myself about the stripes as well.My car ismineral gray and the stripes were black.I had MLK day off from school/workand had nothing to do so i just took the bottom stripes and pin stripesoff. It looksMUCH cleaner now and I'mglad I did it.

Oh I live in FL so we don't have to worry about emissions down here in the dirty south. :D

Are those wheels 17x8 or 17x9?? I want the 9" width so whenI do wheel spacers it'll look a lil better, yet I can still rotate my tires. I like the wheels though - anthractie is what I'm going for too.
