Default T-5 / Clutch Question

I recently picked up a T-5 and have everything but the 28oz flywheel to put the motor and tranny back in my car.

I have never done a clutch job and this is my first standard transmission so I havea couplestupid questions before I put everything together tonight.

My clutch kit it came with what I believe was called a clutch release bearing. It looks like from the install pictures that this goes on the shaft of the tranny and secures to the fork. My T-5 already has the fork and everything ready to go, do I need to install this bearing? (If you look at the autozone.com picture of a clutch kit for a 65 mustang, it is on top)

Also, Where can I find an inexpensive screw on 5-speed shifter handle. I'm going to try and use the stock shifter for a little while.

Thanks!

Parker

Default RE: T-5 / Clutch Question

since you already have it out, you might as well install the new one. As for the shift handle check out ebay.
