I went with 14" to match the roof line. To me, the 8" is just to stubby and makes it even more noticeable.

I bought the 8" for my ride.
It's been on the car for a couple months now and it doesn't pull the stations in as well as the stock antenna.
It might work fine for those who live in or near a major metropolitan area where the signal is strong no matter what you use.
But, I live in a rural area where the radio stations are more spread out.
I am thinking of trying the 14" to see if it works any better for me.
My 2 cents.
